Passages - Fee For Service
Passages (Fee for service programs) are offered for both adults and youth. These programs promote exploration of interests and how to increase quality of life. It focuses on enhancing independent and social skills as well as supporting meaningful volunteer and recreational activities as well as paid employment opportunities.
Fee for Service programs mean that people can access and pay for programs and supports directly from a service provider such as CLASS as required. Fees an Agency charges will vary based on the needs of people supported at the time of their intake meeting with a specific Agency. Rates with a Non-Profit Agency can vary depending on the needs of people supported and group sizes. Staff ratios can vary greatly for each person and will also have a bearing on cost.
Non-Profit Agencies such as CLASS have a long-standing history in their communities. Our Agencies are funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) and have some distinct differences from private operators. Agencies are regulated and offer some of the best in trained and experienced staff along with a variety of programs and services to meet individual’s needs.
