The Community Living Association for South Simcoe (CLASS) provides services and supports to people with a developmental handicap to enable them to live with dignity, maximize their potential for personal growth, and participate in all elements of living in the community. CLASS has casual and part time vacancies and will accept applications for people wishing to work in a group home setting.
We provide services in the Alliston, Tottenham, and Bradford areas. We are just 50 minutes north of Toronto and less than a half hour from the heart of cottage country; an ideal site close to summer and winter recreation and just 40 minutes from Blue Mountain, Snow Valley and the ski hills of Mansfield.

CLASS has partnered with over 50 agencies and government services in providing support to individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities. We strive to participate in our communities through employment opportunities, links to education and training as well as support for local events.
The successful candidates will have a high school diploma and be working towards or earned a post secondary diploma, which may include, Developmental Service Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or Social Services Worker, and a minimum of 6 months experience working in the Developmental Services Sector. A special interest in Applied Behavioural Management, along with training in Crisis Prevention Intervention, First Aid, CPR, and a Class "F" Driver's License would be an asset.
CLASS provides on-going training in subjects such as Rights Training, Best Practices, Medication Dispensing, Health & Safety, Dual Diagnosis, Ethics of Touch, Person Directed Planning, and many others.
