Serving the South Simcoe area since 1962. New Tecumseth and surrounding townships of Essa, Adjala-Tosorontio, and parts of Bradford-West Gwillimbury and Innisfil.
“The Community Living Association for South Simcoe (CLASS) supports people with a developmental disability. CLASS is a non-profit, charitable organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The agency was established in 1962 by a group of parents who wanted services in their own community for their children who had a diagnosis of a developmental disability.”
CLASS receives funding from the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS). We rely heavily on additional donations and fundraising efforts to continue to offer our programs and services that are not funded by MCCSS.

Community Living Association for South Simcoe acknowledges that the land where we provide our services is the traditional land of the Anishinaabek Nation, which includes Ojibwe, Odawa and Pottawatomi Nation, collectively known as the Three Fires Confederacy. We recognize that the Huron-Wendat, Chippewa and Haudenosaunee Nations have walked on this territory over time. We acknowledge that this land is covered by The Lake Simcoe-Nottawasaga Treaty, or Treaty 18, which was made between the Chippewas near Lake Simcoe (the current Chippewas of Rama First Nation, Chippewas of Beausoleil First Nation, and the Chippewas of Georgina Island) and the colonial government of Upper Canada on October 17, 1818. We are dedicated to honouring indigenous history and culture and committed to moving forward in the spirit of reconciliation and respect with all First Nation, Metis and Inuit people.
